Evans Title and Appraisal Company, (name later changed to
Evans Title Agency, Inc.) was founded in 1991 by Tim Evans.
Along with three employees, the company set out with the goal of
serving the home equity lenders of Dayton, Ohio. Having
been a lender himself, Tim felt there was a need for a local It quickly became obvious that a broader range of products and services were needed. With the sponsorship of a major title insurance company, Tim became licensed as a title insurance agent for the State of Ohio. This allowed the company to not only offer more products to its existing clients, but also opened up new avenues of business. Over the next few years Evans Title Agency, Inc. shifted from a one-dimensional provider, to a full service agency. With this change in focus came rapid growth. The client base expanded to the Residential Lending Departments of local banks, local and national Mortgage Companies, Credit Unions, Realtors, Mortgage Brokers and National Mortgage Investors. Through the relationships established with the Dayton based banks, Evans Title Agency, Inc. rounded out its products by expanding into commercial title services. Under the direction of Patricia Ahlstrom, it has become one of the fastest growing divisions within our organization.
Today, Evans Title Agency, Inc. employees a staff of over 15 title professionals with collective experience totaling more than 125 years! We have 5 licensed title insurance agents who represent First American Title Insurance Company, Lawyers Title Insurance Company and United General Title Insurance Company. Our entire staff is dedicated to making Evans Title Agency, Inc. the premier agency in Southwestern Ohio.
